Interesting to see what the #Rams do with the CB depth. Troy Hill & Kevin Peterson could start on half of the teams in the league. Now, the #Giants lost Sam Beal for the year & the #Chargers lost Jason Verrett for the year as well. Those are two teams to watch as trade candidates

Last time the #Rams had the depth at CB similar to what they have now it was last year. They packaged one of their corners last year (E.J. Gaines) in the trade to acquire Sammy Watkins. It will be interesting to see what happens with Hill and Peterson.

#Rams just got the absolute diamond in the rough via the draft in @J_FranklinMyers

Jon Gruden on @nflnetwork on if Raiders defense can be as good as it needs to be without 52: “We weren’t very good last year with Khalil Mack.” That’s not a shot, but the point is with or without Mack, the pass rush and the whole defense in general needs to be better.

Feels like Oakland is hoping someone offers up a few picks for Mack

one thing i’ll never worry about with this team is their ability to draft secondary players. if i’m the rams, i let joyner go. they’ll find someone who can fill that spot. as good as joyner is. the rams just seem to know how to draft defensive backs.

i also think that this team is able to draft defensive line. maybe i’m wrong. that’s the sense i get. and so outside of donald who is a true legit transcendent hall of fame destroyer of worlds i’d rather see them fill those other spots with draft picks.

and i trust wade to find those edge rushers this defense will need. the steelers were always able to do that. don’t spend too much on the edge rushers. draft them in the lower rounds and develop them.

offensive line and wide receivers i’m not so sure about that. they seem to pick a lot of duds there. but they need to get better on that. with all the money going to donald, gurley, cooks, and soon goff, they need to find some guys to develop. maybe noteboom and allen can be at least two of those.

Wade Phillips, on whether he would like to see Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh line up together some time during training camp: “Yeah, tomorrow would be good.”

Rams center John Sullivan, who left practice early yesterday with an apparent arm injury, was in uniform for the start of practice today.

“The Rams and Les Snead seem more than comfortable making Aaron Donald the highest paid defensive player ever” Voice of the Rams @JB_Long on the Donald holdout and the addition of Brandin Cooks

One of my favorite conversations of #RamsCamp so far: OLB Matt Longacre.
“Aaron Donald’s getting vertical so fast that he’s literally cutting me off.”

“He won’t say it, but he’s the best in the league.”
