I do not think the NFC has a doormat.

Granted, one or more teams will inevitably stumble due to injury/bad luck/disfunction.

But at the outset? I’m not sure there’s an NFC team I’d be shocked to see make the playoffs.

Under the Le’Veon Bell offensive playmaker theory, the Rams set Todd Gurley’s salary floor at $16M per year with Brandin Cooks’ deal. Gurley led the NFL with 2,093 yards from scrimmage in 2017 & was NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
