    It’s this article:
Goff to L.A., Wentz to Philly: How they became the top two picks in 2016, by Alden Gonzalez

    Which is here: http://theramshuddle.com/topic/week-14-goff-wentz-comparisons/

And has things like this in it:

The Rams had tried to trade up in the draft the prior year, after scouting Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. But the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Titans held the top two spots and wouldn’t budge.

Fisher: “We would have gone through the same exercise had the team stayed in St. Louis. I can say that with absolute certainty. This was a need that the team had to address no matter where we were.”

So would we rather have either of those two – or goff?

I would take Goff out of all 4, personally. (#4 being Wentz.)

It’s a tough call all the way around. Them 4 is good quarterbacks.

I don’t know if I am objective about it though. Or, I don;t know HOW objective about it I am. But, I really do like Goff skills more I think. I like the wide array of types of passes he throws. How some are lasers and some are touch-feathered long passes with eyes.

The big Wentz selling points (basically he’s McNair) never resonated with me as much.

So whether or not I am being a homer, I am certainly invested in my own preferences.

So I would never argue with anyone who said they like Wentz better. I would argue with someone who said that Goff didn’t have as much talent. It’s obviously just a different kind of talent.

I don’t know the differences between the four of them. I remember reading pre-draft that Wentz was probably more NFL ready, and would be better out of the gate, but that Goff would be better after he was seasoned. I dunno. It’s hard to compare QBs because obviously QBs depend for success on all the players and the OC etc.

In any event, I like Goff. I think we are going to be happy with him for a long time.
