I may have mentioned…I like having Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.

Bills fans have to be face-palming themselves.

I cant understand what Buffalo’s braintrust was thinking.

I really dont. It would be like jettisoning Ike and Torry.

    I dont get it.

    New GM.

    Just starting over.

Wanted the picks (and in Woods’ case, the cap space) and not the players.

    Yeah…well…thank you.

I mean…I have been praying for a #1 for I-dunno-how-many-years, and rookie WRs are projects. And every draft that goes by without taking a #1 WR means it’s gonna be another 3 years before the Rams have a Real #1.

So…another way to do it is to just get those WRs at the end of their first deal right when they are about to blow up into Real WRs, and give up next to nothing to get them. There’s some sense to doing it that way. It’s just not a very common strategy is all I’m saying.

I can’t BELIEVE they have Watkins and Woods. And I was happy with just Woods. With Woods, they got a legit #2 with upside. Now Watkins as well.

Good lord, I just can’t believe the offseason the Rams had retooling their offense.

Yeah, all the key offensive players have been acquired in the last 3 off-seasons.

    2015: Gurley, Hav.
    2016: Goff
2017: Whitworth, Sullivan, Woods, Watkins, Kupp.

Though I hafta tell ya. I don’t like 41-39 nail biters any more than 9-6 nail biters.

Yeah, me neither. But it took a muffed punt AND a fumble on a KO return for that to become close.

The Bills had watkins, Woods And Goodwin. They had the pieces for a great offense. Maybe minus the coordinator and qb.

Well, i know, but it seems to me, the new GM made two idiotic decisions.

Tossing away a real solid, competitive, route-runner, possession receiver with great hands, and a fucking NO.1 WR…..

He gets RID of THOSE for cap space?

I hope he makes more deals with the Rams.

The Bills are like a farm team for the Rams.

Well it was the case that Woods did not seem worth paying for compared to other needs, and Watkins had been hurt a lot and they wanted picks.

What they did not expect was to see them both on the same team thriving. Not thriving which I bet they did expect, but on the same team. That just magnifies the whole thing.

Personally I am never for getting rid of top players. You keep them and build around them. So if I were a GM, I would never do what Buffalo did.

Almost forgot about Coleman….. another Bills Alum. I guess we should credit Snead.

and just imagine next offseason when they’ll have more time to work together, develop chemistry, and learn the offense. goff has had that with woods and kupp and everett.

but not really with watkins… i hear a lot of comparisons to desean, but i think sammy has the ability and potential to be a much more complete receiver than desean.

next year i can see goff and the receivers getting together and having their own informal minicamps. that’s when things could really take off.
