Kurt Warner chooses his wife to be the presenter for his Hall of Fame induction
St. Louis Rams legend Kurt Warner will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 5th, and his choice for presenter is as unconventional as his path to NFL immortality was.
Warner announced via Twitter video on Friday that his wife, Brenda, will do him the honor of presenting him at his induction ceremony.
In anticipation of #HOF17 inductions in just over a month thought I would fill u all in on my presenter! pic.twitter.com/56O3L7xIoP

The last and only other inductee to be presented by his wife was Mike Singletary, a member of the Class of 1998. It’s a fitting and very sweet choice on Warner’s part, especially considering the nature of their marriage and the drastic change in lifestyle from when they met after he became an NFL superstar.
Reaction from around the NFL to Kurt Warner’s election into the Hall of Fame
Back when Kurt and Brenda first got together in the early 1990’s, she was a single mother with two children – one of which is severely disabled due to a horrific accident. Kurt was a football player who was mostly playing in arena leagues until getting his shot with the Rams in 1998. Now over two decades later, they’re still together with seven children and a legacy they never could’ve imagined.I’m sure it will be an emotional night for the Warner family, as well as for the fans who got to watch him help to build a dynasty.

InvaderRamModeratori sometimes got annoyed with the warners. they just got a little overbearing for me at times.
but kurt’s rise from rags to superbowl winning qb was as much about brenda as it was about him.
just an incredible story that defied all odds and so it totally makes sense that she would present.
one of the greatest stories if not the greatest story in nfl history.

vWell it was just one year with the Giants.
The way I understand this, Kurt did not leave because of the thumb. He left because of the fall out over arguing about the thumb (including Brenda going public on Martz). I just have this feeling that all this was one of the effects of Vermeil retiring. I just think Vermeil would have handled the Kurt situation.
The Rams would have fallen apart anyway. Bulger was good enough to be a playoff qb in those years (2003-2005). But they needed to have a defense and to re-stock the roster with good drafts. By the time 2005 rolled around, Bruce was an 11 year vet, Faulk was running on a bad knee though they had Jackson, Hakim and Proehl were gone, the line was starting Barron and Terrell, the corners were Groce and Travis Fisher, Mike Furrey was the FS, the MLB was Chris Claiborne (one of the worst in Rams history), and Anthony Hargrove was at end with Jimmy Kennedy at DT. The defense was ranked 30th and they didn’t have the firepower to overcome that like they did in 2000.

No, believe me. It’s because my memory is bad that I go straight to sources when writing up thinks like that. I just pulled up a 2005 roster. After seeing it in print recollection drifts in like an old man who’s just now getting alert enough to function cause he’s on his 2nd cup of coffee.

Eternal RamnationParticipantIt drives me nuts when Martz gets blamed
for 2005 . They locked him out Oct 10th 5 games in they were 2 and 3. The man had an infection in his fucking heart. How’d they do after he was fired ? Well they sucked ass for a dozen years and counting. -
