    In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.     Oh those who already know about the movie know all about that. It’s not a hidden thing. For those who don’t know about it YET, the surprise comes ONLY in watching the trailer. That is, people who already know about this film already know who’s in it. Those who don’t yet would know eventually because the advertising for the film is going to stress it. So it’s just a one-time surprise in the trailer for those who don’t yet know. Everyone will know by the time the movie opens…that is, the movie itself is not built around that being a surprise.

    I might have put it this way. For those who don’t know who is in the movie yet, this trailer will have a surprise. But even as I say that, all those who know about the movie know exactly what I am referring to. Eventually everyone will know about that, long before the movie opens.
