First off, I like Keenum, but understand it is time for Mannion to back up. I hope CK ends up somewhere like Denver, where he may have a chance to start (or maybe not, since Kubiak retired).
For players I’d like to see return, in order: Bennie, McDonald, The Leg, Reynolds.
Haven’t seen enough of Thomas to have a feel either way, but have had enough of a tease to know it is time to part with Quick.
Cunningham’s departure would be a huge loss. Hope he comes back.
I agree. But this draft is supposed to be very deep at RB, which means other RBs ought to be there on the last day or in UDFAs. Cunningham got around 1.5 M last year if memory serves, so it looks like with tagging Tru and signing Whitworth, they are replacing some of those 2-5 M types. Right now the Rams have 9-something M in cap space

What these guys cost in 2016: if you add up Britt, Cunningham, Keenum, McDonald, Quick, Reynolds, Cam Thomas, and Zuerlein, it was 16.2 M and most were in line to make more this year.
I don’t see Tru and Whitworth as being long term solutions. Woods, maybe? Unless something more changes, all they can do is minimum wage stuff. imo As for the rest, new coaches equal new eyes and they wanted the money used elsewhere.
