Basically, same offense…last year it could run (even with Foles in meltdown mode) and now it can’t.

    What gives.

All opinions welcome cause there is no one “right” answer IMO.

Off the cuff, while looking at the last game, it seemed that the Oline was way to eager to get a block at the second level and left the initial block too early. When they got to the second they looked lost as they tried to find someone to block.

When I watched Gurley in college, he ran like he just assumed the first guy would not be able to tackle him. He was mostly looking downfield.
    .
How that works in to what we have now, I am not sure.

Gurley’s stats last year were helped by a few long runs due to being able to break through a crease here or there. He’s not been able to do that this year, and there have been opportunities to do it. That said, it’s not all on him either. The line has been getting pushed back a bit more than last year, it seems. That, and I think the run game scheme was different last year as well. So, 3 problems? Your guess is as good as mine. I just dunno.

You have to be odd, to be number one.

I think Keenum is telling the defense where the play is going pre-snap, Gurely loses that time that the defense would be reading the play the result is his first contact is about 3 yds. behind the LOS. If the Rams had good coaching at the position it would’ve been fixed by now but they seem unaware of it
