First frost. All my pepper plants in the garden and the morning glorys around the deck are done.

Spinach and Chard still hanging in there.

I do love the change of seasons, but I never look forward to first frost.

That sucks. I’m hoping for 3 weeks or more before first frost since I have a few things to bring in but want as much time outside as possible. We’re usually good until sometime in november but we’re on a ridge top so first frost always hits the valley before us.

This is a decent calculator for first and last frost date by zip code.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.
