I watched Maggie, starring Arnold and Abigail Breslin.
The director was the real star — Henry Hobson.
(who I’ve never heard of)
He created a dark, intimate movie. Not bad.
He brought the best out of Arnold, i thought,
and Breslin was great.
It only got a 50 or so, at rotten tomatoes,
but its not bad.
In the special features, the director mentioned that
Maggie should do for Arnold what Unforgiven did for Clint
Eastwood — ya know, make him all gritty and bring out
more of his acting-potential, etc. Before i heard him say
that in the bonus features that is exactly what i was
thinking as i was watching it. Arnold is all wrinkly
and gritty in this…
