    Honestly, I think the $63 is just rubbing it in.

    (Who comes up with these numbers?)

    You know what would have been better than fining him?

    Penalizing him 15 yards.

    If they were really serious about stopping this sort of infraction, they would award the Rams the victory. I bet Mathews would think twice before roughing another QB if it was going to cost his team the game. Of course, we already knew the league wasn’t really interested in cleaning up the game when they refused to adopt my suggestion regarding forced amputations as punishment for horse collar infractions.

    Sure looks like spearing in that photo.

    Course, the Refs dont have the ability
    to stop reality and look at things
    all slowed-down or stopped.
    Ya know.

    I saw an episode once where Some aliens
    on the Outer Limits
    had that ability. But i dont think refs
    have the technology.
