1 for 9 on 3rd down conversions for the Rams vs Cleveland yesterday….
almost as bad as SF from last week (1 for 11) vs Seattle.
Rams are dead last in 3rd down conversions for the season… this scares me.
It doesn’t bode well, that’s for sure. I am expecting the Rams to contend for a playoff spot this year on the strength of their defense and Todd Gurley, but they are not going to beat good teams who can just focus on slowing Gurley down.
They need better play from their QB and WRs, and we are six games in right now without any evidence that a passing game is emerging. I am just not seeing any improvement in the Rams’ effectiveness this year. Foles hasn’t distinguished himself from Hill, imo.
