    Zac Stacy was a godsend for us in 2013, as Darrell Richardson tubed as SJax’s replacement.

    The plucky kid from Vanderbilt was only a 5th Rounder, but was fearless as he drove into those holes and got smacked around like a redheaded stepchild by hordes of defenders that Stacy’s footspeed did not allow him to outrun.

    Stacy’s running style was like an Earl Campbell type of trying to slash into defenders, punishing them, and MOVING THE PILE.

    This running style was Zac Stacy’s undoing IMO, because his smaller-than-Earl-Campbell-Frame was unable to hold up and withstand all that 2013 pounding that his body took……AND IT TOOK ALOT!!

    There were stories of Stacy having to crawl around his apartment….to the bathroom, to the kitchen, etc in the day or two following games because of the amount of bruising and punishment he took in those 20-25 carries in the previous 24 to 48 hours.

    Knowledgeable Rams fans will recall how HC Jeff Fisher allowed Zac Stacy not to have to practice midweek……it was because the poor kid was non-ambulatory.

    I believe Zac Stacy knew he had one opportunity with Los Ramos in 2013…..a nd he gave it his all ….110%

    Too bad he’s all banged up now. Its a shame really.

    He isn’t expected to get 25 carries a game with the Jets so I hope that means a quality of life improvement for him. Sure ran with heart.

    The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.
