here’s a look at how qbs fared with their new teams dating back to 1990 – criteria to make the list as follows:
1. played for just 1 previous team.
2. was the primary starter for at least 1 season for his first team.
3. was the primary starter for his new team from the start, from game 1.
4. minimum 20 career starts.
amazingly only 35 qbs in the last 25 years meet this criteria as far as i can tell and, not coincidentally, it’s a criteria that both sam and nick will most likely meet as well.
the chart shows the qb’s age when he switched to his new team, the qb’s number of starts his first year with his new team, his win/loss record the first year with his new team, and his new team’s win/loss record the year before he arrived. also included is the qb’s qb rating and completion % for his first year with his new team. btw a * means the qb made the pro bowl in his first year with his new team, and a + means he got an all-pro nod.
