Well they made it more of an adventure than they should have. But…a win. It was the secondary that came through in this game. Turnovers, key tackles, passes defensed. Durant, Curl, Lake, McCullough, and Witherspoon all with key plays.

Well….I’m not sure there’s another team in the NFL they could have beaten today, other than the hapless-Raiders.   144 yards passing.

That reminded me of the Vermeil 1997 and 1998 Rams.  Ugly.

    Ah well.   We’ll take it.

For me it was marginally better than watching them lose. Man, that offense looks ineffective. I thought the interior offensive line looked particularly weak. Not sure how much of that is on Dedich getting the start, but not much to get excited about with this offense. Obviously they miss Kupp and Nacua in the passing game, but their absence leaves a hole with run blocking as well.

The defense won this game but that wasn’t  2013 Denver Broncos they were facing out there. Not sure if I will watch beyond the first quarter on Thursday night.

Obviously they miss Kupp and Nacua in the passing game,

It wasn’t just Kupp and Nacua. Whittington was out too. A WR corps of Robinson, Johnson, and Atwell isn’t starting caliber. Though all 3 of those guys could contribute if they had someone ahead of them on the field. Even Whittington. But if it’s just them, you can’t really execute the Rams offense. None of those guys run block like Kupp, Nacua, and Whittington either.

Yes zn, the Ram’s young secondary had a great game today…nice defensive win.

2-4 vs 5-1 Vikes on Amazon Prime Thursday…

    Bring ’em on… SKOL THIS!

Saw some highlights. Listened a bit on the radio. Always gonna like the win, but judging from the comments, not much to look at this week. Offense still missing too many important parts.

Hoping Thursday night will be fun to watch. A tough match for them, of course. What will losing a close one to Detroit do to Vikings. Flat, or revved up?

Defense played well.  Got some pressure on the QB.

if they can get healthy on offense, they would be competitive.

The Rams look ugly, but, if there is a positive in that, they usually force their opponents to look ugly too.

They’ve lost to some of the best teams in the NFC – the 5-1 Lions, 5-2 Packers, and 4-2 Bears…which one of those teams looked particularly impressive against the Rams?  They uglied their way to victories over the extremely talented, but weirdly inconsistent 9’ers, and the hapless Raiders.

The only team that looked great against them was the Cardinals, but that was a case of Kyler Murray taking out years of frustration against a Donald-less team that didn’t look ready to play.

That said, they could easily get rolled by the Vikings this Thursday.  But I wouldn’t be surprised if they got enough ‘ugly’ on the Vikes to make the game competitive.

Vikings are only 3 point favorites over the Rams.

What’s up with Logan Bruss not playing? I don’t know much, but this UFA Dedich fellow did not seem like an upgrade at all. To the contrary.

Reinforcements to the OL and WR positions cannot come soon enough. CBS shows everybody not on IR as expected back this week, but that’s not what I’ve been seeing from the tweeters and beat sources. Kupp looks like he’ll play, and they were considering Noteboom this week, so maybe he could get in there. That would help.

As noted, the arrival of Witherspoon helped the defense, but this team doesn’t look likely to pull an upset on Thursday if that was the best they could do against the Raiders.

    Bash on, regardless.
