I wonder if this is where the rams trading all their draft picks is biting them in the ass cause they don’t have as many up and coming guys to take on more work from potentially banged up vets

The Rams are something like top 5 in total draft picks the last few years. They make a ton of picks, just not first rounders or top of the draft guys. But they draft in volume
What do you think of schemes like what the Rams and Vikings currently run?
Mitchell Schwartz@MitchSchwartz71
the outside zone heavy schemes are easier for OL. Mostly because those offenses tend to have easier throws, which are nakeds or hard play action. Less drop back passing. But the run game can be easier if you understand how to run it properly, it creates a lot of space.
Do you know of any O-linemen who preferred to pass block over run block?
Mitchell Schwartz@MitchSchwartz71
I liked the skill and battle of pass blocking more. But it’s a way higher stress situation and a lot more can go wrong, so that’s why we like run blocking. I also didn’t crave the brute physicality of run blocking as much as others so it wasn’t something I “needed” as much.
