    Los Angeles Rams:Ā The way the Rams evaluate safeties, from their scheme fit to their personalities, is deeply fascinating to me. Itā€™s also a position around which an important part of their team-build revolves, because safeties will be mid- to late-round picks and have to contribute at high level on their rookie deals in order to help maintain their financial and roster balance on defense. Their history at the position includes Eric Weddle (twice!), John Johnson andĀ Jordan Fuller, all of whom have been difference-makers physically and mentally. So when they picked UCLA prospectĀ Quentin LakeĀ at No. 211, a player who has been compared to Fuller (who started for the Rams as a sixth-round pick in his rookie season), I was of course hooked. Lakeā€™s development will be fun to watch, and who knows? He could be on the ā€œFullerā€ track. ā€”Ā Jourdan RodrigueĀ

    #RamsHouse basically watched tape on Big 10 Tackles Logan Bruss & AJ Arcuri take it to 1st overall pick DE Aiden Hutchinson & 2nd Rounder David Ojaboā€¦. Bruss is obviously going to be starting but Arcuri might be more than just a project

    Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but something possibly worth noting. The Lions selected two players that I had deemed fits for the Rams based on past selection. Find that interesting because I think it points to the influence that Holmes had in the Rams draft process.
