From 2009 thru 2019, there have been 33 quarterbacks selected in the first round. After trade of Sam Darnold, only seven are with the team that drafted them. From 2009-2016, there were 22 first-rounders and none are with their original team.
I loved that guy before he got broken behind his OL.
He legitimately played well enough that the Rams were forced to move on from Kurt Warner, an MVP, SB Champion & one of the best career stories in NFL history.

few people who do draft coverage actually watching film and even fewer understanding how/why teams rank players. Additionally, almost no one in media gets real character/intangible info to be able to lower/eliminate players to where NFL teams will have them.
Rookie WRs usually make a significant jump in development in their second season, so Van Jefferson should be an impact player for Rams in 2021:https://t.co/f0H8T3vowY
Pro Football Focus measured each team’s draft success at every position since 2011 and the Rams were No. 1 in two categories: defensive line and defensive backs.
Here’s what Timo Riske of PFF wrote about the Rams’ drafting along the defensive line.
Given how well Les Snead has fared at drafting defensive linemen for his Los Angeles Rams, he might want to consider keeping some picks instead of trading them away. All of his shots at defensive linemen early in the draft developed into at least solid players: Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn and, of course, Aaron Donald.

Oops, mistake. Quinn was drafted in 2011, the year before Snead was hired.

Woods and D.Jax on the outside and cooper in the slot with jefferson there as a 4th great option sounds great to me. This offense should be close to the 2017 version of the rams offense as long as Stafford does his thing.
