The Rams have activated Michael Brockers to the 53-man roster from Covid/reserve. He will play Saturday against Seattle.

The one thing the NFL does better than any league is sell quick turn around: We have 7 new teams in the 2020 post season that weren’t in a year ago. That makes 31 straight seasons at least 4 new teams made the playoffs that weren’t in it the season before

wildcard underdogs are 8-4 dating back to 2017… last year dogs went 3-1, the year before 3-1, and the year before that 2-2… moreover, only 1 of the 12 wildcard favorites over the past three years covered the spread

All-Pro SS Jamal Adams will play in Saturday’s wild-card game against the Rams despite a new left shoulder injury. He declared as much Wednesday and wasn’t even given a game designation on the Seahawks’ final injury report. Adams was limited in practice the last two days. He’s also been playing through a right shoulder injury and two broken fingers on his left hand. “Whatever it takes,” he said. Adams has never been to the playoffs.

Here’s my “hot” take of the day: Won’t ultimately matter who is at QB if the Rams’ offense turns the ball over (-3 despite a defense T4 in takeaways) or can’t get TDs in the red zone (22.2% in last 3 games). Both emphasized in practice this week. Along with thumb other topics.

Use one, use the other, use both, whatever. The Rams have to play a clean game and actually get into the end zone after they have not in two weeks. Well, the defense has. You get my point.

Overall I think this one is going to be a lot of fun – buckle in everyone.

Two things we’re expecting to be in jeopardy today:
    • Sean McVay’s undefeated record when winning at halftime
    • Pete Carroll’s undefeated playoff record at home
