    First Team: DL Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams

    Breaking news: Aaron Donald is very good at football. How good? Well, he leads the NFL with 66 total pressures, seven more than any other player at any position. Donald is the only primarily interior player we have seen lead the league in total pressures since 2006, and he has done it in three of the past four seasons, including this one. He is the best pass-rusher in football and continues to produce at this level despite the extra layers of attention and game-planning that go into reducing his impact. He is the gold standard at the position.

    Second Team: Darious Williams, John Johnson III

    Kurt Warner was on NFL Network today and was asked about Goff and his struggles…..he said Goff is a very solid starter in the NFL who has already proven he can be very good, but people got to stop trying to compare him to other QB’s who could carry a team to a Super Bowl….he said there is only a handful of them that could do that throughout the history of the NFL

    I think thats about right.

    But I also think he’s been making too many bonehead plays lately.

    Funny the way a Ring changes everyone’s perception, though. If Goff wins a Super Bowl, everything will change in the way people talk about him.

    For that reason, I vote Goff gets a ring this year.

    A heads up on quoting posts that have color codes in them.

    I have to clean those posts up.

    If there’s color in a post–like me red-bolding a poster’s name or ag posting in blue print–never hit “quote.”

    Blue out the portion you want to quote and THEN hit quote.

    It;s the difference between getting this, which I have to clean up:

    Why not just get a new board?

    We’ve been here an eternity.

    In the Old Days, we used to get a new board about every 8 months. Gave us something to complain about.

    Johnson says that backup QB Wolford also kind of runs like Kyler Murray (a bit slower)

    and so they feel like he’s a perfect scout team QB to practice for this matchup. He says to defend the quick pitter-patter of Murray’s steps, as a defender you kind of have to imitate those steps instead of taking your natural long strides to contain.

    Dante Fowler & Leonard Floyd have had career years over the last two seasons + Clay Matthews had a resurgence last year, all on the Rams. Fowler has fell off this year after leaving the Rams while Floyd has emerged since joining the team.
