    Enjoy the day, which I dedicate to feasting with friends and family. Except this year, which in these Pandemic Times I dedicate to just being with my wife for a good meal and some safe social isolation.

    Yes, right now it will be just me and the Kittys. My brother and his wife have corona(they are doing ok.) but none of the family is interested in doing Thanksgiving, maybe Christmas. Everyone enjoy something about Thanksgiving. I am going to make pork chops, mashed potatos, and gravy, maybe stuffing.

    So, I was watching today’s early game and I saw something disturbing happen to the defenses of both teams that never happens to the Rams defense…

    The QB took the snap from center, and he threw the ball. But instead of the CB or safety catching the ball or batting it down, it was caught by someone referred to as a “re…” um, a “receiver”?

    And it happened more than once.
    It happened a lot actually.

    Color me perplexed. I’m still not sure wtf I saw.

    It didn’t make sense either. Because when the receiver caught the ball, it often resulted in a 1st down. So why would their CBs and safeties allow it to happen?

    I’m at a loss. 2020 can’t end soon enough.

    I get confused watching other teams too. For example, sometimes it’s impossible to determine which one of their defenders is the one designated to draw all the double- and triple-team blocking. So you’re watching them and it’s like, c’mon man it has to be somebody.
