this weekend the Giants have a rookie LT (Andrew Thomas) who’s been hit/miss so far as rookie OTs tend to be. So there’s a good chance we see some edge pressures from the blindside. And some will get really excited about whoever benefits but nothing will have changed in that we aren’t gonna get consistent pressures from that side when we face the good lines that have the LT position locked down.

LA Rams: PFF’s highest-graded offense through Wk3 (89.5)==
from https://www.si.com/nfl/rams/news/la-rams-most-physical-running-team-in-nfl
According to former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew, writing for NFL.com (Jones-Drew also serves as an analyst for the Rams on game day), L.A. has the most physical running game in the league right now.
Jones-Drew: “Last year, the Rams struggled to find an offensive identity. This year, it’s clear Sean McVay wants his team to be physical — and it is. The Rams lead the league in rushing attempts through three weeks, averaging 37 carries per game, and their committee approach — featuring Darrell Henderson, Cam Akers and Malcolm Brown — allows them to trot out fresh legs on nearly every play, from start to finish, even if one player (Henderson, lately) ends up with more carries than the others. … the Rams lead the league in forced missed tackles with 26 (five more than any other team). You might expect that kind of performance with a high-profile star like Todd Gurley in the backfield, but Gurley is gone — and this unheralded group is putting the league on notice.”

DH27 – RB1
CK10 – WR2
RW17 – WR20
TH89 – TE9
GE81 – TE27
AW77 – OT3

RH79 – OT11darrell henderson at number one just blows my mind. i still like akers. if he can come back healthy and productive, i’d say the rams have the most feared rushing attack in the nfl? especially when you include woods.

the difference in goff’s 1st and 2nd down numbers vs his 3rd & 4th down numbers, here’s a closer look – on 3rd/4th downs with 5 yards or less to go, goff’s been nails, for to-go sitches of 6+ yards, typically requiring deeper routes to the sticks and by extension longer pass pro, it hasn’t been pretty:

Jalen Ramsey had two daughters with Golden Tate’s sister.Golden Tate is not happy about how the relationship ended last summer.
The two face off today.

The Rams’ pass rush, or lack thereof, is a popular topic, but there’s another concern, maybe the biggest — missed tackles.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva

Why did the Rams not get a proven return man?Gary Klein@LATimesklein
That has not been a priority the last few years. They’ve fared pretty well by picking up undrafted players or others that were released.Alec Sturm@alec_sturm
What is a realistic expectation for how they finish, playoff wise?Gary Klein@LATimesklein
Going into the season, I thought they were an 8-8 team. But no fans in stadiums plays to Rams advantage. Too early for playoff prediction. Have to see how healthy the Rams and other NFC West teams remain.Robert Goulet@FeltFootball
Fuller playing today?Gary Klein@LATimesklein
Great question. He looked fine in the portions of practice reporters are allowed to watch, but that was only individual drills. But if it’s questionable, why risk it in this game?October 4, 2020 at 3:05 pm #122160znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
I thought that S Jordan Fuller was trending toward playing this week – and all signs pointed positive – but as I understand it, this was more of a day-of decision based on possible pain management in the shoulder – not necessarily functionality. Team doesn’t want to risk it.Taylor Rapp, Terrell Burgess will be holding it down alongside John Johnson today on the back end. JuJu Hughes – activated from PS on Saturday – is depth and will get some special teams work in.

The NFC East is such that the Rams can’t expect to face a team today that’s ready to take any games off. The 0-3 Giants could end the day tied for 1st place if they upset LA. -
