Welp, Micah Kiser missed seven tackles on Sunday night against the Cowboys.I looked at the tape to see how bad they were, and even though not all of them were complete whiffs, it’s still reason for concern
Micah Kiser@kiser_rollin
You are a clown. Never seen someone want to wish someone failed more than you people. It’s ridiculous.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
No one wants you to fail. Tried to provide some context to the number, that’s all.Micah Kiser@kiser_rollin
No context lol. You can’t see anything from the side view. Half of these I’m shooting a gap and being blocked by a lineman. I could just play with no effort and not throw my body around in attempts to get guys down, but I don’t play that way. Whatever man. I’m too slow and suck.==
me: this fan watched the game tape and concluded it was simply not 7 missed tackles.

He didn’t miss no seven tackles,,,
Now if PFF is counting clean blocks by the offense as a miss tackle,,,,
then they’re wrong… a Miss tackle in my book, if you have a clean hit and miss…
I’ll go over the game tape again,,,
it has better angles then a TV tape…
from what I can see he missed two plays for sure,,,, 1 and 7 from over pursuing on Elliot…
2 and 6 took a bad angle and just got an arm on Dak,,,
the other three vids,,,, what was PFF looking at????
3 he was blocked and coming from behind to try and make the tackle…
4 he was blocked…
5 He was blocked… and Pollard cut the other way..

I dont think I like the fact that Kiser is this thin-skinned. I dont want players debating game-crap on social media.

vI have to agree with that. It doesn’t look good.

as far as the missed tackles. he hasn’t played competitive football in awhile. didn’t have a proper offseason to get ready for the first game. so hopefully he cleans that stuff up.

To be fair the guy I quote who looked at the game tape says it was not 7 missed tackles.
The source that said it was 7 was counting being blocked out of the play as a missed tackle, which doesn’t make any sense.
This game reviewer guy sees 2 definite missed tackles. Not 7.

Good, because all the Agreement was vexatious. I mean,
we almost had Four Agreements.w

ok. yeah. i see. that makes more sense.
i still do think tackling overall was a little lacking. not just kiser. but i bet it gets cleaned up. plus that was probably one of the better offenses the rams defense will have gone up against.

Kiser played very well Sunday. For a guy billed as a between-the-tackles run stuffer he’s also played well in coverage so far (3 PD in two games).
Certainly, he seemed to play much better yesterday than last week. But there were some promising continuities too – in both games, he was constantly around the ball and he was aggressive. I also liked the bit on the Williams’ interception where you see him gesturing to Williams to stay in the endzone, rather than try to run it out. A fairly obvious call, but heady nonetheless.
There was an article that showed clips of the 7 tackles he supposedly missed against Dallas that made me think, dag, tough, TOUGH grader! In one case, the missed tackle was by Ebukam, not Kiser. In a couple others bringing the ball carrier would have required an outstanding play – not what “missed tackle” implies. He was not nearly as bad as “he missed half his tackle attempts” (he was credited with 7 last week) implies.
