Titans’ first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested Friday night for a DUI, as @BuckReising reported.

Titans: “We are aware of the situation. This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”

Tennessee used their 29th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft on the Georgia offensive lineman with the expectation that he would compete for playing time at right tackle as a rookie. The 6-foot-6-inch, 350-pounder has twice been placed on the COVID-19/Reserve list for the team. Wilson also had a run-in last month with TSU campus police while attending an off-campus gathering.

Isaiah Wilson attended a party at Tennessee State University off-campus apartments on Heiman Street that drew the attention of university police on Aug. 15

Wilson received a trespass warning while TSU students got in deeper trouble for drug, curfew and runaway violations. Burning marijuana coming from the balcony of the apartment drew officers Inice Wagner and Michael Massiah there from their foot patrol

from Chiefs-Texans opener was most-watched sporting event since Super Bowl LIV

If your average right-wing goofball is telling you that nobody is watching the NFL anymore because the players have the temerity to stand up (or kneel) for what they believe in, the numbers tell different stories.

They’ve won their home opener by 37, 34 and 18 points in the three seasons under McVay, and they have a chance to open SoFi Stadium in similar fashion: with an impressive win in front of very few people rooting for them.

Today’s Buccaneers – Saints game will mark the 4th DECADE in which Tom Brady has faced Drew Brees. Their first meeting, last CENTURY, was a 38-12 Michigan win over Purdue in 1999.

Just a reminder on game-day rosters this year: Teams are allowed to expand from 46 to 48 players provided at least eight of those players are offensive linemen. We’ll keep you posted on
@Raiders inactives when they are announced

Maybe obvious but still incredible: After testing yesterday, all 3,600 players and team personnel, and another 1,400 gameday assistants, all have been cleared for today’s games, per source.

A rather remarkable feat for the league and its players.

Hard to believe Aaron Donald’s first sack on Dak Prescott tonight will be the first time Aaron Donald has sacked Dak Prescott in his career.

    Long overdue.

It’s a little strange to see Greg Zuerlein loosening in a Dallas Cowboys T-shirt. Saying hello to Johnny Hekker.
