    I’m not sure the GSOT had a game that was like this. Where both teams scored a lot and the Rams won.

    At any rate, this is probably my favorite regular season game in the last ten years. Maybe ever. I dunno.

    HAMMOND: What happened afterward is something I’ll never forget.

    Hammond is referring to the sad context of that game. It was in the week with the shooting at the one bar and also the fires. He says this:

    Approximately one hour after one of the most exciting, grueling NFL games in Los Angeles history… Goff and Whitworth met with the people who really mattered. After their slow walk across the field ended, the players hugged and talked with first responders and families of shooting victims.

    That game and the Vikings game from that season are reminders of how well Goff can throw when he has time and is confident in his o-line.

    He’ll always throw the occasional clunker, but when he’s on there isn’t a QB anywhere who is more accurate.
