    from Rams Q&A: Vinny Bonsignore : https://theathletic.com/1369192/2019/11/13/live-qa-with-rams-writer-vinny-bonsignore-on-tuesday-from-1-to-2-p-m-pt-9/?=twittered

Goff is reliant on surrounding pieces. But I do not believe overly. Yes, the offensive line is most to blame and needs to be a point of emphasis moving forward.

Definitely a very watered down attack. There’s been just too much disruption on the O-line. I think we’ve seen much more of that the last few weeks – shorter concepts, quicker pass plays, etc.

The thing that’s really frustrating from Rams standpoint is, they felt Noteboom and Allen were progressing. It would have been a lot easier, moving forward, had they gotten a full-season’s look at them – the growth, whatever progression/regression/plateau. They won’t have that

I think he may need to go back to some of those things that were successful back in early 17

He has to be confident it can get blocked. That’s an issue

Curious what the tenor is like in the building this week.

I’ve sensed no panic and simply a desire and objective to figure out ways to win football games. That’s really what it boils down to. This is what we have to work with, this is what we need to do to win games. Sounds simple. But it’s really where their heads are at

I can’t understand why the coach isn´t involving RBs in the passing game.

I think it Todd’s case it’s just part of the overall plan to protect him. With Henderson, you have to wonder where he is in the playbook/offensive understanding. I’m not sure that’s a part of Malcolm’s game they are comfortable tapping into

How long can McVay keep justifying holding Gurley out during crucial moments like the opening drives of the fourth quarter against Pittsburgh?

I think this is an organizational plan. I’d like to think there is room to be more flexible but to date, there’s been none.

I’ve been pounding the table for the Rams to use another lineman. With the degradation of the o-line, this is needed more than ever. Though they should play, all three tight ends are apparently dinged up. A two-TE set might be problematic because of that.

Play six linemen!! Or, if the rules allow it, seven. Tackle-eligible, or whatever is needed.

Make sure they activate at least nine for the game, instead of their usual seven.

Give Goff time. McVay’s entire passing attack needs time for the QB to do play-action and find open receivers. It’s not a quick-passing offense, typically. It’s not like NE’s or Minnesota’s, to give a coupla examples. Brees also gets the ball out there quickly.

And, of course, the extra linemen should help the running game too. And third and short, and the goal-line.

Not saying make that the default set. But it should be mixed in, liberally.
