I’m talkin about fumbling, not INTs. Is it just the OLine or is Goff a bit loose with the ball?

I dont like Goff’s ball-security this year. I know all about what bad-olines do to QBs, but if you know you have a bad OLine you have to be conscious of that. I think Goff is a bit too loose out there with the ball. Just my opinion. Its something he may or may not be able to improve on.

Perhaps his ‘small hands’ make it easier for defenders to whack the ball loose 🙂

I still think Goff is a QB who can win a Super Bowl, with a competent OLine. Like I’ve said before I think a LOT of NFL QBs can win a Ring with a competent OLine and a good coach and proper weapons. Probly about half the QBs in the NFL. It only takes a “good QB” to win a Ring if things fall in place. Goff is certainly at least a ‘good QB’ in my view.

But I think he’s a bit loose with the ball. I thought that last year too.
I thought Warner got loose with the ball in his last year with the Rams, btw. Course with him it was the thumb, among other things.

i’d prefer to see goff fumble it no more than 12 times over a season. he’s already got 4. he’s on pace for 16.

    so. we’ll see.

but it has to improve. he’s just gotta make quicker decisions and be more aware. i mean it’s good to a certain degree that he isn’t focused on the pass rush. he’s a tough guy. but sometimes you just gotta make a decision and just get it out of your hands quickly.

plus those tiny hands don’t help one bit.
