    I hate USA Today’s website, but that’s where this article/slideshow is.

    23 of the counties are in Red States (including 10 in Kentucky!), 1 in a purple state, and 1 in a mostly blue state. Most of those counties are in the former Confederacy – states that are Red top-to-bottom, and even receive more federal aid than they pay in taxes. I wonder if maybe Republicans aren’t as good at building an economy as they claim they are.
