    MAILBAG: Among other bits, they stress that the defense this year will be heavy into subpackages. This is a big thing. That will have more to do with how the defense works this year than anything else. If Everett turns into the player they think he can be, this offense goes to a whole new level. On the Rams OL (and NB and Allen), they will be tested in game 1 since Carolina now has one of the 2-3 best DLs in the game.
