Roethlisberger averaged 2.38 seconds to attempt a pass…

    Brees averaged 2.43…

And Brady averaged 2.45 seconds to attempt.

Great quarterbacks have a special way of putting undeservedly positive stamps on coaches that last far beyond their times together.

Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady have made an innumerable number of coaches & front office guys filthy rich over the years.

about the recent speculation that the #Rams might let Jared Goff walk at the end of his rookie contract in search of a young, cheap replacement – it is phenomenally absurd.

I believe the Rams haven’t signed Goff to an extension because cap space is so tight. I think he will be signed in the next year or two, when cap space is better. Goff is a very good QB. It would be difficult to find someone better.

It’s not really that. First-round QB’s don’t normally re-sign after three years. The #Rams have free agents next year that are priorities. So it’s not a pressing issue – but people are mistaking that dynamic with them not prioritizing Goff in general. Which is a mistake.

Here is a question. What team has been burned by giving a big QB contract out to a QB that’s equally accomplished what Goff has through three seasons?
