it’s a shame that, that catch wasn’t made……

could turn out to be a huge play for the 2017 season….. let’s hope they learn from that play and that game.

Kupp makes that catch, everyone would be talking about the lat game heroics of Goff, how far he’s come and how he’s an elite quarterback.

Sigh, just kills me.

A little more air under that throw, and he would have had it. I see all responsibility for the incompletion directed at Kupp, but I think Goff threw it too hard. Kupp could have caught it, maybe. It would have been an outstanding catch. He was open, and with a touch less tabasco on that, the Rams would be all anyone talked about yesterday.

That’s what I originally thought when it happened. But the more I look at it…I dunno…he shoulda’ caught it.

I would take Goff’s throw anytime in that situation. It wasn’t center of the target, but it gave the WR a chance to make a play. I expected Kupp to make the catch, but I am not as positive that he should have made the catch as some. I say 7 or 8 out of 10 times he catches it. I think if he would have had his thumbs together, he would have had a better chance to make the catch.

i agree but would also add.

if goff had that throw over again, chances are he woulda made a more accurate throw. it was a good throw. maybe a great throw. but not perfect.
