About as encouraging an offensive first half as the Rams can have. Jared Goff (14-of-17, 145, 1 TD), Todd Gurley (8 carries, 38 yards, 1 TD) and Cooper Kupp (5 catches, 67 yards, 1 TD on 6 targets) all looked good. Rams were 6-for-8 on third down and picked up 12 first downs. They lead the Raiders, 17-14.

Sean Mannion marched the Rams 80 yards up the field for the game-winning drive in a 24-21 win over the Raiders. Mannion converted on 4th and 9 with a dart to Mike Thomas, who absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit from a Raiders DB. Mannion then sailed a 20-yard pass up the sideline to Josh Reynolds, their long, athletic fourth-round pick, who battled for the football and won. Very good day all around for the Rams, now 2-0 for the preseason.

One guy who I’ve consistently noticed during #Rams camp/preseason: Tanzel Smart. Very disruptive for a rookie defensive tackle.

He’s probably going to come on slowly this year — rookie TE, and all — but Everett has a chance to be a good one

This is easily the most comfortable Jared Goff has looked in a #Rams uniform.
