    the Charger and Bronco helmets look decent, but they didn’t do justice to the Rams.

    That helmet could drive me away from the NFL forever.

    The horns we love are not just a channel for tradition for Ram fans. They are also one of the classiest images in sports branding. They blazed the trail for NFL helmet logos and are often mentioned as iconic examples of commercial graphic design.

    Mess with the horns, and the consequences would, I think, be dire among the few deeply loyal fans the team has left.

    BOOOOOOO!!!!

    While watching the mud bowl as a young lad, t’was the horns that drew me in to this labyrinth filled misery of Rams fandom.

    Yeah, you can’t get rid of the horns.

    Some of those helmet designs are pretty cool, though. I think the horns could be tweaked a little to be more modern. Or, even classic.

    The Giants’ helmet is most hideous. The white for the Vikings is not good.

    Why is their an Oiler’s helmet?

    I like Tampa’s and Buffalo’s quite a bit.

    I like it. The so called existing horns don’t look like horns to me. Including the Oilers helmet is odd. Perhaps it is meant as a Titans throwback?

    Looking at the Broncos helmet up close, that horse has way to much stuff coming out of its nose. It’s unsanitary.

    I received 2 text messages last night from fellow Rams fans, (way back Ram fans) that actually like this new concept…. I could not believe it.

    I think the horse should have his hoof up to one nostril to make it appear that it’s clearing the other nostril. You see that sometimes from football players when they’re out on the field mucking it up.

    Unbee-lievable, Joe. That is just really hard to believe.

    Whoever made that design had zero
    appreciation of the Long history
    of the Rams. I swear.

    Thing iz, that design is wrong on MULTIPLE
    levels. I mean, even if you WERE gonna
    piss on the long tradition and history of the Rams
    and toss out the horns — that particular heretical
    design is comical. I once saw a design like that
    on a little plastic helmet i got out of a gumball
    machine a coupla decades ago. It looked just
    like that. I was pissed off about back
    then even though it was just a tiny
    little plastic rams helmet.

    my reply text to my buddies last night was ….DON”T FV*K WITH THE HORNS!!!….

    I mean I go way back with one of these guys…., back in the 80’s, i met him through my roommate, a fellow Ram fan from San Jose….. we watched Ram games at the sports bar before the days of Sunday Tix and DirecTV…., when I got the tix, he came over every Sunday Mornings to watch Sunday Tix, we watched the 99 season playoffs and Super Bowl together, but for the past 12 years we’ve just texted during games….. and he likes this helmet… I FEEL BETRAYED!!!!!

    I really like the Lions helmets that he created. Those looked fly and all.

    Ok, I think it’s time for everyone to stop fuckin’ with the helmets. The Rams have already strayed too far off the one true path as it is. Let’s not venture any further into oblivion.

    If the body is a slavish devotion to swirls masquerading as horns on a helmet then no. In fact I am sworn to cleanse the helmet born of the graffiti insult of an obviously bored Rams player wanting a career in fashion design. Down with the body.
