    How they addressed Tavon — He will progress, send him vertical more. Less gadget stuff. But he has to evolve into that role. That’s up to him. Continue to improve on being a more complete receiver, has to work on route versatility so he’s harder to defend. Having him work more with the strength staff.

    Okay now me—see this stuff has me a little skeptical. I don’t see him becoming a “more complete receiver.” I think they already hit the ceiling on that with Tavon. There are just certain things you normally expect from a receiver he doesn’t have. So to me, what you do with Tavon is, sure, add to the WR part of his game, but he is better being the guy he was in 2015, who ran the ball too, sometimes on gimmicks and misdirections, sometimes just as a pure runner.
