    Right now TG is listed as having 521 yards on 121 carries, with a YPC of 4.2.

    But that 4.2 might be misleading. We know he started slow in game one, where against Indy he go 40 yards on 19 carries for a YPC of 2.1.

    How has he done since then? In the last 5 games, he had 481 yards on 102 carries, which is a YPC of 4.7. That (if it were across all 6 games) would rank 5th in the league.

    I think the 4.7 is probably real and the 4.2 is probably not. For whatever reason he started slow against Indy and whatever it was, they have since fixed it.

    However…that’s not set in stone yet. Who knows yet how much of that comes from the defenses he played. In the last 5 games, he has faced run defenses ranked:

    8th (Washington)
    18th (SF)
    22nd (Dallas)
    26th (Seattle)
    21st (Jacksonville)

    He did get 88 yards on 16 carries against Washington (5.5 YPC), but so far, other than Washington, that’s some bad running defenses.

    Arizona is 9th against the run so that game could start to give a clearer picture.
