He did try a couple of those mid range outs…little more time and those are gonna start dropping in the right hands.
I was watching throw after throw around 5 yards deep…then I started to notice all the receivers were the same depth….kinda why Miami was all over them. The receivers aren’t at different depths so clogging up the whole field with defenders.
After watching the “every throw” video…I really liked what I saw. He looked natural back there. Calm and collected. Didn’t look like a kid who never took a snap from center before this year.
I am very optimistic.
Might be the only bright spot for our rest of the season.
something else I”d like to say. I really liked the way he eluded pressure and was still looking downfield for the throw. He does it much more naturally than Bradford did when he was a rookie.
I think the beating he took in college oddly may have prepared him for and NFL pass rush.
